WB SET Exam Eligibility Criteria

Before you apply, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria for WB SET 2023:

  1. Candidates must have a master’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks.
  2. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for candidates belonging to reserved categories like OBC (falling in the Non-creamy layer), SC, ST, PWD, and Transgender.
  3. Candidates with a PhD degree who completed their Master’s level examination by 19th September 1991 can get a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.
