Exciting news for all the candidates who appeared for the NTA UGC NET June 2023 CBT! The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently released the CBT Result for the examination conducted in June 2023. If you were eagerly waiting for your result, it’s time to check your score and see how you performed.
The UGC NET exam was conducted by NTA to recruit candidates for the positions of ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor both’. If you were interested in these roles and fulfilled all the eligibility criteria, you must have applied online after going through the notification.
For those who wish to know about the application fee, it was Rs. 1150/- for General/Unreserved category, Rs. 600/- for Other Backward Classes (OBC) – (NCL)/ Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Rs. 325/- for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates. The payment could be made online through various modes like Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
The exam was conducted in two phases – Phase I and Phase II. The Phase I exam took place from 13th to 17th June 2023, while the Phase II exam was held from 19th to 22nd June 2023. Candidates were allotted specific exam centers, dates, and shifts, which were mentioned on their Admit Card.
The duration of the examination was 180 minutes (03 hours), with no break between Paper 1 & Paper 2. The timing of the exam was split into two shifts, the first from 09.00 am to 12.00 pm, and the second from 03.00 pm to 06.00 pm.
If you made any errors in your application form, don’t worry; you had the opportunity to correct them on the NTA website from 2nd to 3rd June 2023.
To be eligible for the UGC NET exam, candidates were required to have a Master’s Degree or an equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC.
Now, the moment you’ve been waiting for – the CBT Result! You can find the result and the CBT Final Key on the NTA website. The results were officially declared on 26th July 2023.
