Educational Qualification
- I.T. Officer (Scale-I):
- 4-year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics &Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR
- Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR
- Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level.
- Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I):
- 4-year Degree (graduation) in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri. Marketing & Cooperation/ Co-operation & Banking/ Agro-Forestry/Forestry/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Food Science/ Agriculture Business Management/ Food Technology/ Dairy Technology/ Agricultural Engineering/ Sericulture.
- Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I):
- Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level OR
- Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.
- Law Officer (Scale I):
- A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.
- HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I):
- Graduate and Two Years Full-time Post Graduate degrees or Two Years Full-time Post Graduate Diplomas in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR / HRD/ Social Work / Labor Law.
- Marketing Officer (Scale I):
- Graduate and Two Years Full-time MMS (Marketing)/ Two Years Full-time MBA (Marketing)/ Two Years Full-time PGDBA / PGDBM/ PGPM/ PGDM with specialization in Marketing.
- Note: Candidates with a PG Degree (MMS or MBA)/PG Diploma with more than two specializations are not eligible to apply. For posts other than IT Officer Scale I, candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the High School/College/Institute subjects.
Age Limit:
- The minimum age for candidates is 20 years.
- The maximum age for candidates is 30 years.
- There are age relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other candidates. For example, the upper age limit for ST/SC candidates is 35 years, for OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates is 33 years, and for PWBD candidates is 40 years.
Please note that all the educational qualifications should be from a recognized University/Institution/Board approved by the Government of India or relevant Government Regulatory Bodies. The final result should have been declared on or before 21st August 2023.

IBPS SO 2023 Mains Exam Pattern:
- The main examination tests your professional knowledge in your respective field.
- You will have to answer 60 questions worth 60 marks in 45 minutes for the Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer posts.
For the Rajbhasha Adhikari post:
- You will face an Objective Professional Knowledge section with 45 questions, 60 marks, and 30 minutes.

- For every wrong answer in both preliminary and main exams, a penalty of 0.25 marks will be applied.
- However, there will be no penalty for leaving questions unattempted.
